Online PrEP in London

There’s a new way to get free HIV PrEP in London on the NHS without having to visit a clinic!

You need to live in one of these boroughs to get PrEP this way - Barking and Dagenham; City and Hackney; Havering; Lambeth; Newham; Redbridge; Tower Hamlets; and Waltham Forest.

Before you get started

You’ll need to have a UK based phone number that is yours.

You shouldn’t use someone else’s phone number.

You’ll need to provide details of an address that is in one of the London boroughs above.

How to get started

  1. Register online through SH.UK

  2. Answer health questions about recent sex, medications, and medical conditions

  3. Receive a test kit by post (HIV test and kidney function)

  4. Return the kit and check your messages

  5. Get your PrEP delivered (up to 3 bottles if your results are OK)

You can still visit an NHS sexual health clinic at any time if you prefer face-to-face care.
